Wooden Housing Prototype (DHV)

Driven by the local government body in charge of housing and city planning in French Polynesia (the 'Délégation à l'Habitat et à la Ville'), this project aims to promote wooden construction in the country. Our mission consists in designing three individual housing prototypes with a wooden structure. The design combines a goal of cost reduction with environmental and ecological principles. The end goal is to make new ecological housing accessible at a lower budget.
